10 Business Days from Initial Integration Discovery to UAT

How AI-powered delivery from Lingk Orchestra cut months off UF Lastinger Center's Salesforce and Brightspace integration timeline.

Systems Integrated: Salesforce, D2L Brightspace

From completed discovery to UAT-ready integration code connecting Salesforce and D2L Brightspace across users, programs, courses, enrollments, and learning operations.

*Industry benchmarks place comparable Salesforce-to-LMS enterprise integrations at 3 to 6 months from completed discovery to UAT readiness, with multi-domain implementations connecting users, courses, and enrollment data often extending beyond six months.

The Challenge

The University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning needed to connect Salesforce and D2L Brightspace across a complex student and learning lifecycle. The scope included multiple integration areas: users, programs, courses, enrollments, and learning operations.

Traditionally, projects of this size spend weeks or months after discovery translating business requirements into technical specifications, mappings, workflows, and implementation-ready integrations. The Lastinger Center needed a way to accelerate that path from requirements to execution without sacrificing quality, governance, or scalability.

Compounding the timeline pressure: without a dedicated IT organization of their own, the Lastinger team relied on guidance from UF central IT, which indicated the integration work would be built on SnapLogic and would not be deliverable until August. For an organization focused on statewide educator support and digital learning, that timeline was incompatible with operational realities.

Two Different Timelines Given to UF

Original Plan

Central IT on SnapLogic

  • 5 month delivery minimum
  • Traditional consulting-heavy implementation cycle
Lingk

AI-Powered Delivery + Integration Experts

  • 10 Business Days Delivery
  • Discovery completed May 1, integration code ready for testing mid-May 2026
  • Salesforce and Brightspace connected with all requirements
  • Built completely by Lingk with no work needed from University of Florida's IT team

What Lingk Delivered

By May 1, the Lastinger team had completed a brief discovery phase, providing Lingk with basic implementation artifacts: a document describing business requirements, workflow documentation, mapping spreadsheets, sample data, API references, and operational and business rules.

Using Lingk Orchestra, which combines AI Agents with experienced integration engineers, Lingk accelerated every step of the post-discovery process:

Data Integrator Agent
  • Interpret business requirements
  • Validate mappings
  • Generate integration logic
  • Scaffold workflows
  • Prepare testing and UAT deliverables

The AI handled high-volume translation work. Lingk's integration engineers ensured every output aligned with the Lastinger Center's operational goals, governance requirements, and business rules. The resulting integration framework connected Salesforce and Brightspace across core learning and enrollment operations while reaching UAT readiness in a fraction of the time normally expected for enterprise integration projects.

We were told by our previous integration vendor that it would take at least 5 months for the Salesforce and Brightspace integration. And we needed it done much sooner. We met with Lingk and went from the initial discovery to UAT in just 10 days. Their technology and experienced team gave us a level of speed and quality we didn't think was achievable.

Why It Matters

The Lastinger engagement is a proof point for what AI-powered integration delivery actually looks like in practice.

AI + Engineers, Not AI Alone

Lingk Orchestra combines AI Agents with integration experts. AI accelerates translation and scaffolding work; engineers ensure quality, governance, and alignment with business rules.

Speed Accessible to Lean Teams

Organizations without dedicated IT infrastructure no longer need to accept months-long internal queues. AI-powered delivery makes enterprise-grade integration accessible to teams of any size.

Compression Without Cutting Corners

Compressing the post-discovery cycle from months to days doesn't mean skipping governance, mapping validation, or UAT readiness. With Lingk AI Agents, institutions can avoid human error and quickly reach robust data quality standards.
