The Initiative
Jessup University has partnered with Lingk to transition from a legacy Student Information System (CAMS) to Salesforce Education Cloud as its primary cloud-based SIS, unifying the entire student lifecycle—from recruitment and admissions through enrollment, financial aid, and student success—on a single, modern platform.
Like many institutions, Jessup’s existing SIS environment limited flexibility, interoperability, and long-term scalability. While CAMS continues to support core functions during the transition, the university made a deliberate decision to move toward Salesforce not just as a CRM, but as the system of record for student data, enabling a more connected, data-driven, and student-centric operating model.

Lingk is working with Jessup to design and implement Salesforce Education Cloud as a unified system that supports SIS and CRM functionality across the full student lifecycle. This includes establishing Salesforce as the authoritative data hub while enabling continued operations in CAMS during the transition period.
Through real-time and event-driven integrations, Lingk ensures that student data remains consistent, accurate, and accessible across systems as Jessup progresses through each phase of implementation.
Legacy SIS and Financial Aid Integration
To maintain operational continuity, Lingk is integrating Unit4 CAMS and College Board PowerFAIDS with Salesforce. These integrations support secure, automated data flows between admissions, registrar, and financial aid teams—reducing manual processes while improving data quality and cross-department visibility.
This approach allows Jessup to modernize without disruption, ensuring critical processes continue uninterrupted while the new SIS foundation is built.
